We're gonna do a review on it, show you the unboxing, so here we go. You guys are gonna be the first to see this brand new Pelagos unboxed. The first thing you get is this, looks like a check list, with all the little things that had to get done with it before they send it out. An instruction manual on how to use this in a whole bunch of different languages which I believe you can also just go onto the manufacturer's website to look at. A nice cardboard box, some plastic wrap, and let's go to the watch itself. And voila! Complete with warranty card, the watch itself, and a nice couple of rubber straps which I'll get into in a bit. Let's look at, first, the warranty card. It will come with this credit card style credit card and you'll probably notice it looks eerily similar to the Rolex card and that's 'cause Rolex owns Tudor. You'll have typically the serial, the model, and some kinda light description on it. On the back you will have the name of the retailer, which I've blocked out, along with the purchase date and as you can see, that's dated today so this is brand new, brand new, brand new. This also looks very similar to Rolex, which is the card holder, but it's just a different color and that's cause, like I told you, this is all owned by Rolex. It's there other division, kinda like how Lexus and Toyota have their divisions. This is the guarantee booklet and this is the watch itself. It is a 2016 model, just came out. It's super, super, highly coveted, and hard to find in the stores. Let's go through some of the features here. It has a ceramic bezel, so this thing you see right here, they used to make this in aluminum, now they make it in ceramic so that it doesn't scratch, and it feels like ceramic. You see the hands here, they are what's called the snowflake hands and they're very big and luminous because, presumably, you'll be diving with this watch and you wanna be able to see. The reason they made the hands different, so you can figure out which one's the hour hand and which one's the minute hand. Same goes with their second hand here, so you can just tell by the shape. The next thing you'll notice about this watch is that it's got a very, very cool deployment. So you see this? You know how when you wear a watch and sometimes your hand expands and the watch is too big or it's too small and you wish you would've made that adjustment. Well, with this watch, you don't have to, because you can adjust it on the fly. You see these two springs in the back? What you do is you pull here, and voila! It moves it, as you can see, left to right, or forward and backward. You'll see here it tells you, so you can even remember. You can say hey, am I on the third ring, or the fourth ring, or the fifth ring of what size that you know you need to be at. It actually also has a diver extension here where it says push, you can push and release the diver extension. The reason you do that is, let's say you're wearing a wet suit and you don't wanna put it around the cuff of the wet suit, you need to extend the diver extension, and that's what it's for. So I'm gonna go ahead and put that back, well. I'll show you the bracelet here. Just like Rolex bracelet, I feel it in my hand, you guys can't tell, but it feels super smooth. They also have this bar code which I gotta cover up. There you can see it for a sec. You'll notice that this watch, most of the Rolexes are good to about 300 meters. This one, in case you wanna dive really far, it's good to 500 meters, 200 meters more than other Rolexes. You'll also notice here, you're probably wondering what this thing is. This is a helium gas escape valve. Presumably when you go down real deep, I don't know, guess helium, I don't know, does something and you gotta get rid of it basically. Probably just another selling point, but anyways, this little thingy is a helium gas escape valve. Of course it has the safety clasp because as a sports watch you need a safety clasp as opposed to those Datejusts that have no safety clasp. Alright, so now I'm gonna try it on, let you guys see what it looks like on the wrist. There it is. Tudor does a great job of not only giving you the stainless steel band, you really get a bang for your buck. They also include these two, or this blue rubber strap. So in case you would like it on rubber strap, they also include that. You're probably wondering what this extra thing is here. It's just an extension, no actually, it's not an extension, it's just a different type of bracelet. One has this funny bump thingy here. I guess one's shorter, no, they're the same size.
